I offer bespoke one-to-one therapy sessions that are tailored to your individual needs. In the sessions you will work through your psychological difficulties and collaboratively build coping strategies to better manage and strengthen your emotional robustness.

SERVICES
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT:
In the initial session we assess your needs and agree a way forward. After this, sessions can be weekly, with each session lasting 1 hour. I usually work with clients for 10-16 sessions. However, there are times when longer-term work is beneficial.
WHAT THERAPIES DO I OFFER?
Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) aims to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours to bring about immediate and long-lasting positive change in your quality of life.
Art Psychotherapy uses artmaking as a means to externalise often complex thoughts and feelings following difficult or traumatic experiences which may be otherwise too distressing or hard to talk about. It can help people of all ages and at all stages of life. You do not need to be skilled in art to benefit from art therapy.
Eco-therapies’ core concept is incorporating nature into a therapeutic practice to promote an improved mental health and overall wellbeing through restoring the healthy relationship between individuals and the natural world. It can take place both indoors and out.
Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) is an effective treatment for low self-esteem, self-criticism, and shame; and which often drives people’s anxieties and depressive thinking.
WHEN, WHERE AND HOW MUCH?

Monday-to-Thursday, 0800 – 1700 hours.

ABOUT ME
I am an accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). And an accredited art psychotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have extensive training in eco-therapy and compassion-focused therapy.
My professional background has been within both the NHS for children’s and adults’ community services, such as CAMHS' and CMHT's. And the Ministry of Defence for serving military personal, specialist services for veterans, sexual abuse and palliative care.
